Stormy Daniels First Post-Interview Appearance Comes In Nashville
NASHVILLE, TN — In her first public appearances since outlining her alleged one-night stand with Donald Trump, adult film actress Stormy Daniels will perform three nights starting Thursday at Nashville’s Deja Vu Gentleman’s Club.
Daniels signed a contract in January with Deja Vu’s parent company for a series of appearances, the first of which just happens to be in Nashville at the Church Street club.
Daniels, 39, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, was reportedly paid $130,000 days before the 2016 presidential election to keep quiet about an alleged affair she had with Trump a decade earlier. The payoff could raise election-law questions for Trump if the funds came from his campaign. Despite having signed the non-disclosure agreement prepared by Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, Trump never signed it, so Daniels says she’s free to talk about their relationship.
In her interview with Anderson Cooper which aired Sunday on “60 Minutes,” Daniels said she was “perfectly fine saying nothing at all,” but that she is “not OK with being made to out to be a liar. Of those who have tried to attach her story to thousands of women who have shared stories of sexual harassment and assault in the #MeToo movement, she said: “I think trying to use me to — to further someone else’s agenda, does horrible damage to people who are true victims.”
Larry Schuster, manager of the club, told WSMV he expects Deja Vu to be at its 250-person capacity for each performance. The cover for Daniels’ appearance is $30.
“Twenty million people watching the interview, one of the most watched in the past few years so we’re expecting a really good showing,” Schuster told the station. “Just get in here as soon as you can because we’re expecting very big crowds.”
Daniels will also be signing autographs and taking photos between performances.
